U13s star Hudson smashes records

Sway U13's star Oscar Hudson broke a host of records with his batting over the weekend.

The 2nd XI went into their tricky County Division 4 game at Burley with leading run scorer Will Millard unavailable so U13 top order batsman was introduced for his 2nd XI debut with some big boots to fill.

Hudson showed no sign of nerves opening the batting against a nagging accurate and experienced attack - hitingt 52 off 94 balls to become the youngest Sway player to score a half century in the County Divisions.

The very next day he was at it again.....retiring 30 not out for the U16s in the morning before plundering 131 runs off 128 balls against Hythe & Dibden in the Woodhouse Trophy.

This was the 8th highest all time score by a Sway batsmen, the second youngest century, the highest score in the Woodhouse Trophy and the highest score by an U13.

Many more to come surely!
