Sway U11s overcame a good Wimborne side at the Dorset Cricket Centre. Put into bat Sway faced some really good bowling but played well to score 144 of their 12 - an example to older groups in how to push on, losing their final wicket off the last ball. Top scorers were Seth Pickering 34, Jasper Condon 28 and Declan Treacey 19.
In reply Wimborne got off to a good start despite an early run out by Harry Allies and good bowling from skipper Harry West and Condon in particular. At the half way stage Wimborne were ahead of the rate but the turning point was a wicket maiden from Brage Wallis. From that point on Sway were in control and Wimborne were all out in the final over for 108 with man-of-match Wallis snaffling the winning wicket off Condon
