Sway U12s edged out Broadstone in a dramatic top of the table clash.

Sway bowled first and seemingly had Broadstone in heaps of trouble with 3 runouts early on leaving the batting side on 19-3. Broadstone consolidated but could never cut loose against tight bowling from Noah, Oli Sharp, Connor and Olly Marshall whose 3 overs went for just 13 including a maiden. Connor picked 2 wickets and Marshall 1 as Broadstone were bowled out fro just 94 in 10 overs .

Oscar Hudson and Noah... opened the reply seemingly in total control oblivious of the drama to come. Sway were cruising despite the loss of Noah for 16 and Hudson was soon retired. The game then suddenly changed - Olly Sharp and Connor Treacey both nicked through to the keeper without scoring. Marshall was going along nicely however with Seb Allies when he was dismissed in bizarre circumstances. A hard shot smashed the the back wall by Seb has just brushed the ceiling net. Oblivious to this Olly and Marshall were busy fist pumping in the middle when the quick thinking fielders took the bails off. When Seb was also run out suddenly Sway were last man standing with Oscar Hudson under huge pressure. Despite Broadstone giving it everything they had, man of the match Hudson 36* (pictured below) stood firm and saw Sway home in a nail biting finish.
