1st XI set to travel in style

Thanks to some hard bargaining the Club is proud to announce that it has purchased a small coach.

The Iveco coach is currently in a Lymington having Sway Cricket Club decals attached and will be available in time for the start of the season.

With the 1st XI now having to travel extra distances for games, the coach will allow them to travel together in style and be raring to go once they arrive. The plan is for the coach to also be used for Sunday away games such as to Guildford, allowing more frequent and sustained visits to hostelries!

As can be seen from the photos, the coach features a ramp that will facilitate the loading and unloading of the now-standard, large cricket bags. It also has working aircon and blinds to allow the team to hid their embarrassment behind should they be skittled out cheaply! Finally there is a yellow, flashing light on the roof and and a reversing alarm that can be customised.

At present the coach will be parked on the road outside Alex Hall's house, but if anyone has a suitable bit of spare land where it can be stored during the week, please let Alex know.
