U9s win indoor league with game to spare

Sway 427-4, Burley 230-10

Sway U9s have now joined their older U11s clubmates in securing an indoor league title with a game to spare.

Sway batted first against a young and inexperienced Burley and made 427 for 4 off their 12 overs. There were good contributions from Declan Treacey and Harry Allies and captain Jon Pepin saw the side past 400 with good running between the wickets.

Burley were never likely to maintain a challenge against the accurate bowling of Jon Pepin (3 wkts) and Brage Wallis (2 wkts) and finished on 230 for 10. Sway remain unbeaten and have 1 game to play.
