New Head Coach Appointed

Sway Cricket is delighted to announce the appointment of David Steadman as our new Head Coach, replacing Adam Clark who is stepping down after 3 years in the role.

The role is crucial to the ongoing development of the Club  - liaising with with the individual colts coaches and overseeing the development of not only the most promising youngsters, but encouraging all the colts to reach their cricketing potential.

There is no doubt that David will be an inspiration to the next generation of Sway youngsters and Sway CC is in his blood - with his two older brothers and dad playing, he had been around the Club since he was a toddler. He played for and captained all our Colts age groups, played for Hampshire U13s and now is a star of our 1st XI.

Despite being just 22, Steadman has already scored 2,043 runs,  taken 187 wickets and 61 catches in adult cricket.

The Club would like to take the opportunity to thank Adam Clark for his hard work in this role.
