2,000 runs for Marshall

Former 1st team skipper Dave Marshall became the 5th Sway player to pass the 2,000 run mark with a typically brief unbeaten 35 against Bluebell Hill - but batting at no 9 you cant hang around!

Marshall made his competitive debut for Sway in 2007 scoring 48 not out in a second team game against Ellingham III. His top score was 68, on his first team debut against BAE System; and he also holds the record knock for a number 9 - 41* v Swan Green.

The 2,012 runs have come at an average of 26.13.
