100 Appearances for
Wrighty
Sway stalwart Mark
Wright made his 100th appearance for the club in last weekend's
4th defeat at the hands of Swan Green - not the the greatest day
for him as he scored just 5 and did not get a wicket.
Wrighty made his
debut back in May 2003 for the 1st XI in a game v Ellingham III
at Poulner School - and made 5 not out. Since then he has
scored 615 runs at an average of 7.07. His highest score of 48
came in 2010 in the 4th XI's win over Bournemouth VI.
With the ball Mark
has taken 64 wickets at a more than respectable average of
20.69, including a whopping 28 wickets back in 2008.
