2nd XI make it 10 wins out of 10 !!

With Pete Bennet losing the toss again Centurions elected to bat on a fast looking pitch at Jubilee Field and their openers got off to a good start taking the score to 32 before Matt Bramwell had Chapple fending off a lifting ball and was caught close in by Mark Wright for 9 John Wills then struck twice with Howard attempting another big hit and skied one which was easily caught by Rick How.and shortly after Collins holing out to Bramwell at mid off for 11. After that only Edwards got into double figures with 20 while the others wickets fell regularly, 3 each to some excellent bowling from both Matt Burton 3-16 in 9 overs and Charlie Smith 3-34. Mark Wright picked up the other wicket to fall with Centurions finishing on 116 which didn't look anything like enough to stop Sway notching up their 10 win of the season.

Sway's reply started slowly with Mark Wright and Rick How taking the score to 27 before both were out in quick succession, a wicket each for the tight opening bowlers Leigh and Burgess. Dan Stevenson and FJ Charton then took control and once the opening bowlers took a well earned breather the runs came thick and fast and Sway passed the total required with no further loss of wickets, Dan Stevenson ending up with an excellent 43 and Charton on 33  That makes 10 wins out of 10 and another 24 points in the bag for Sway II and with the big game next weekend against Trojans, they will be hoping to stretch their unbeaten run further
