3,000 runs passed by Hall

Alex Hall blasted through the 3,000 run mark for Sway in the best possible way with a club record score of 168 not out. On the second player to reach this landmark, Hall has now scored 3,083 runs in 122 innings at an average 31.14. He has also scored one competitive hundred and thirteen competitive half centuries. With no other athletic interests or other lifestyle distractions, Hall appears to hibernate during the close season, ensuring that he emerges each spring like a run-hungry bear!

Alex Hall has come right through from the U11s and made his adult debut way back in July 2002 in a league game against Ringwood II - on that occasion he was caught for just 1 run off the bowling of one of the hard-playing Cooper family.
