13th April 2010 David Steadman the youngest member of the Steadman cricketing dynasty has been appointed as skipper of the U15s for 2010. Despite his youth the talented youngster brings considerable experience to the role - aside from his experience playing for Hampshire colts, David is in his second season for the U15s and has already played 24 times for Sway adult teams and one of just a handful of players to have played for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd XIs. He has also taken 20 senior wickets at an average of just 17. In addition to his U15 duties, he is likely to feature a a key player for Sway in the Tony Woodhouse Trophy and is hoping to turn out for Sway 3rd XI on Saturdays. |
