RD4SW Suttoners II 187-9, Sway II 188-5. Sway won by 5 wickets Suttoners got away to a flying start with R.Robinson and Wayne Murry scoring freely until Jack Ford bowled Robinson but Murry continued to hit out and had made a rapid 50 before being caught at short mid off by pieman FJ.Charton off the impressive Robert Steadman. After this wickets fell steadily until Craig Dennett (31) added 60 for the 7th wicket in partnership with his captain Derek Hopkins (23n.o) and the total finished on 187- 9 with Steadman taking 3-21 and John Wills 3-17. Sway lost an early wicket but sensible batting by Ross Clark (21) and an aggressive 54 from Henry Thornton but Sway back in the game at 91-1. Rick How got off the mark with a six and scored 32 helped by Charton with 19 leaving Dan Stevenson and Pete Bennet to show great equanimity to guide Sway home with 8 balls remaining.
