Hampshire Cricket Board has asked us to let parents know of the details and dates of the coaching courses for this year at the Rose Bowl. These are obviously for Colts of all clubs, however, any interested Sway parents may wish to lift-share etc. James Marshall attended a course over half-term, thought it was very good and made quite a few new friends:

Hampshire Cricket Board have now announced dates for all 2010 Junior Cricket Coaching courses at The Rose Bowl.

Following feedback received in 2009 we have introduced a number of new courses including –

·          Courses designed specifically for Girls, delivered by County/District Coaches who have considerable experience in delivering coaching sessions aimed at current or future female cricketers.

·          Shorter courses aimed at the younger age group of 6-8 yrs

·          Specialised Fielding, Keeping, Batting and Bowling sessions for the older age group with restricted numbers, and including video analysis and specialist sessions delivered by Hampshire professional coaches.

·          A T20 course where the latest techniques and tactics will be taught, helping players adapt to this fast growing version of the game.

All of the sessions are run by our experienced team of HCB Community Coaches, all of whom are qualified to a minimum level ECB/UKCC 2 and who are all involved in both District and County Squad coaching.

All courses are mixed gender with the exception of those advertised specifically for Girls.

The courses are designed to provide both fun and informative coaching and are targeted at players of club or District ability.
