My Favourite moments of 2011.......

No.5 - Adam Clark

Best batting seen

Steve How 54* against Langley manor not just because of the beautiful stroke play but also due to the fact that he was in a very glum situation when he came in. The innings proved to be match winning credit to Kev Glass 30* who gave great support.

Best Bowling

I have 3 for this Steve Thisleton 4-43 against Hyde Thisleton was superb this day blowing away 3 batsmen who finished high in the league averages last season. Dave Steadman 5-21 against Fawley fine example of accurate swing bowling dismissing some very prestigious Fawley batsmen. Nil's 6-22 against Southampton community including walking up to the Lymington times photographer and saying im gonna bowl the batsmen first ball of my next over. The batsmen was on 75 and very set but got bowled 1st ball of Nil's over.

Best personal achievement

Without doubt getting the boys promoted and becoming league champions. 103* against Nomansland and becoming the first batsmen on Deni Blackwell's honour board was also a very proud moment.

Worst moment

As a player duck against Burley, as a captain loss against Bishop Waltham really bad team performance that day, on the social scene getting 16 missed calls from Jack Walton when he got locked out of Grashams's house. He ended up sleeping on the patio, i couldn't be bothered to get up.

Worst behaviour

Hall's broken promised of going to Longs

Best Catch

Steve How 1st slip against Hyde absolute blinder best catch i've seen went like a bullet and plucked at full stretch.

Worst drop

John Grasham Bishop Waltham modelling a hangover Grasham was a wet fish in the field all day including dropping I Tinson *112 on about 20.

Most Unusual game

Trojans first game, put them to the sword and was down the pub at 5.30!!!

Most improved player

Andrew Straw/Nathan David/Steve How

One to watch out for next season
