Crossings Cottage is in the heart of Brockenhurst village in the middle of the New Forest, yet is easily accessible by both road and rail. We are just 100 yards from Brockenhurst railway station, which has direct services connection to London Waterloo taking only 1 hour 30 minutes. The M27 Motorway (Junction 1) which links with the M3 and the rest of the UK motorway network is 8 miles away. The local airports of Bournemouth and Southampton airports are just 15 and 10 miles away respectively. DirectionsROAD
From London. M25 Junction 12 take the M3 southbound towards Southampton. At M3 Junction 13 join the M27 West towards Bournemouth. Low season At Junction 1 of the M27 take the A337 to Lyndhurst. Continue through Lyndhurst on the A337 to Brockenhurst. Proceed through Brockenhurst village and Crossings Cottage is on your left as you approach the level crossing and opposite the cycle hire shop. Peak Season (inc weekends) Leave the M27 at Junction 3 and continue along motorway spur road until reach large roundabout. Take a right turn onto the A35 towards Totton/Lyndhurst. Go over the "Southampton Water" flyover heading towards Lyndhust. Continue on the A35 through Ashurst until reaching Lyndhurst. Follow the signs to Brockenhurst. Once at Brockenhurst village, Crossings Cottage is on your left as you approach the level crossing and opposite the cycle hire shop.
From Southampton take the A35 to Lyndhurst. Take the A337 to Brockenhurst. Proceed through Brockenhurst village and Crossings Cottage is on your left as you approach the level crossing and opposite the cycle hire shop. From Bournemouth take the A35 from Bournemouth, towards Christchurch and then continue on the A35 towards Lyndhurst. Then take the B3055 throgh Sway and continue towards Brockenhurst. Once in Brockenhurst, follow signs towards the railway station. Crossings Cottage is located opposite the cycle hire shop on Lyndhurst Road. From Salisbury (in peak season you may be advised to follow the direction from M27 J3 above)take the A36 from Salisbury to Junction 2 of the M27. Take the M27 westward towards Bournemouth. At Junction 1 of the M27 take the A337 to Lyndhurst. Continue through Lyndhurst on the A337 to Brockenhurst. Proceed through Brockenhurst village and Crossings Cottage is on your left as you approach the level crossing and opposite the cycle hire shop.
RAIL On arrival at Brockenhurst station, walk out of the car park, cross the road, and Crossings Cottage is a few yards down on the other side of the road.
AIR From Gatwick Airport take the M23 and head North towards the M25. Join the M25. From the M25 (J12) join the M3 towards Sunbury and Southampton. At M25 Junction 12 take the M3 southbound towards Southampton. At M3 Junction 13 join the M27 West towards Bournemouth. At Junction 1 of the M27 take the A337 to Lyndhurst. Continue through Lyndhurst on the A337 to Brockenhurst. Proceed through Brockenhurst village and Crossings Cottage is on your left as you approach the level crossing and opposite the cycle hire shop. From Heathrow Airport join the M4 westbound. Almost immediately join the M25, heading South towards the M3. At M3 Junction 13 join the M27 West towards Bournemouth.
